CAIXA is a financial institution that is part of the Brazilian National Financial System and supports the execution of the Federal Government’s credit policy, being subject to the decisions, regulatory framework, and supervision of the National Monetary Council (CMN) and the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN).
The Bank has an established structure for Capital Management and for managing Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Credit Recovery Risk, Market Risk, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB), Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Social, Environmental and Climate Risk, as well as Integrity, Reputational, Strategic, Actuarial, Contagion, Third-Party, Model, and other risks deemed relevant.
The Risk Management Report – Pillar 3 presents information regarding the CAIXA Conglomerate, as required by BACEN under BCB Resolution No. 54/2020, which establishes the standard for the disclosure of this report and aims to enhance governance and transparency in the information provided. In addition, this document presents the main information on CAIXA’s Risk and Capital Management structure, in accordance with CMN Resolution No. 4,557/2017.
