CAIXA is a financial institution that is part of the National Financial System and assists in the execution of the Federal Government’s credit policy, subject to the decisions, regulatory discipline, and supervision of the National Monetary Council – CMN and the Central Bank of Brazil – BACEN.

It has an implemented structure for capital management and credit, operational, market and liquidity risks and observes, in addition to these risks, the interest rate risks of operations not classified in the trading portfolio, counterparty credit, concentration, operational, strategy, reputation, actuarial and socio environmental.

The Risk Management Report – Pillar 3 – presents information from the CAIXA Conglomerate, required by BACEN through BCB Resolution No. 54/2020, which establishes the standard for document disclosure, and aims to improve governance and transparency in the information made available. Furthermore, this document presents the main information about CAIXA’s Risk and Capital Management structure, as established by CMN Resolution No. 4,557/2017.
